Manager, Business Development Proposals 
Contribute to the Business of Airports, Around the World Canada Jamaica Cyprus The Bahamas USA
The Manager, BD Proposals coordinates the preparation of bids and proposals, and participates in developing Vantage and consortium materials tailored to business opportunities.



Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Development, the role’s key responsibilities include
 Establishing timetables for business proposal projects based on a detailed understanding of proposal requirements and creating a proposal development process for others to follow
 Project managing timeline to successful completion, monitoring and assisting to ensure all the steps for a successful proposal are complete, including liaising with stakeholders regarding scheduling and deliverables
 Coordinating requests for clarification
 Planning, organizing and taking minutes for internal and consortium work stream mtgs and formal reviews
 Creating response documents, including incorporating input from consortium partners and technical experts
 Developing production logistics for bid materials
 Reviewing and editing documents to ensure they are cohesive; performing quality control checks to ensure compliance with bid or proposal requirements

This role is based in Vancouver, BC, and requires some domestic and international travel.

Experience
 Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing the proposal development process for major infrastructure projects
 Familiarity with the language of financing, infrastructure projects
 Extensive experience writing and editing business documents
 Expert-level in MS Word and PowerPoint Qualities
 Organized, efficient and results-focused
 Keen attention to detail; able to deliver high-quality work
 Demonstrated ability to influence people and processes
 Flexible; open to changing priorities; able to handle pressure and manage tight timelines
 Able and willing to work both high and low in a lean, collaborative environment
 Quick learner, with a genuine interest in learning the airport investment and management business  Strong writing skills – concise, accurate and suitable for a professional audience
